The X12 replaces the X11, which was the best selling headset for the Xbox. The X12 combines Xbox live chat with live game sound so you can chat and play at the same time. In-line controls allow you to change the amount of bass, change the chat or game sound volume and mute the microphone.
The ear pads are thick, pushing the speaker further away from your head and giving you better overall sound. They're comfortable to wear, even with glasses and the headband has a cushioned underside. The Ear Force X12 uses large 50mm speakers so you'll get excellent sound clarity whether it's the deep boom from explosions or highly detailed music and special effects.
The X12's connect to your Xbox 360 through either the Xbox 360 A/V cable, the HDMI TV audio jack or the HDMI Xbox 360 audio adapter cable. The audio adapter is purchased separately. The X12 is not limited to the Xbox 360, it's PC compatible and can hook up to your PC or laptop just as easily as the Xbox. Just connect the USB cable into a USB port, then connect the green plug into the sound card output and the pink plug into the mike input and you're ready to go. The in-line volume controls can be used with the PC just like with the Xbox.
The Ear Force X12 gives you professional quality sound that's both powerful and rich. It was designed for gamers so that you could get the most out of your gaming experience.
